It is 4 o'clock in the afternoon and 96 degrees Fahrenheit where I live. Don't tell me about Phoenix or how low the humidity is here. That's still just too damned hot.
So I went in search of some photos that might make me at least feel cooler.
The next two are shot over a fence at Mountain Valley Splash, the local public swimming pool.
Willow - Yes, we have lived in humid climates before but find we just can't handle them in our "old age."
Julie - That would only be a temporary solution because after one I'd want another . . and another. And sleeping in the gutter seems to defeat the whole purpose.
Steve - Man, the mid 80's sounds like a cold wave right now!
M.I. - Yup, can't handle the humidity anymore. I think the pool was closed except for some kind of swimming team. Now THAT'S cruel!
Oh, it's hot in my neck of the woods and very humid. I'm soooo ready for fall.

ReplyDeleteWe got up to mid 80's and I was sweating.
ReplyDeleteBeen well in the upper 90's with a nice free soaking of humidity when you walk outside (breathing is optional and may require gills.)
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you didn't just jump the fence and run into the pool! That seemed almost cruel to look but not touch!
