I drove across the pass west of Government Camp that Sunday, and saw a mushroom cloud.....it was mid morning, maybe 10am. My first thought was 'why did they nuc portland??'
I remember flying over your area at around 32K feet in the evenings, Thursday or Friday. I usually had a window seat, up front, and would watch the big thunderheads around us as the pilot dodged the plain, watching the flashes.
The last time I saw a cloud like that Mt. St. Helens was erupting. It is beautiful, though.

ReplyDeleteBeautifully expressed in word and picture.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree. I do love the clouds we get this time of year.
ReplyDeleteNice ones! I take a lot of pictures from the passenger seat of a moving vehicle. Some turn out nice like yours....some....not so much.
