I'm not feeling funny this week. Instead of the usual Friday Funnies, allow me to invite you to spend a few minutes thinking about the victims in the Capital Gazette shooting yesterday.
I can't imagine how it must feel, as a professional, to have your President declare you an 'enemy of the people', and 'maybe traitor, yeah, sounds right'. And this same slime sends 'thoughts and prayers' to the victims relatives and friends. Even the bottom-dwellers in his staff have to recognize what he is, and what it makes them by being his minions. This is not the first 'emanating from the top...the reactions of the neo right and neo nazi's to finally having a 'leader' who does not block them, and waits till he has power to help them.
I will pass no comment on your "President." However, I do regret your nation's loss at the recent shooting. It reminds me that we are all together in our shared anger, disbelief and sadness - as we were at a similar happening in Paris. Remember, "Je suis Charlie" January 2015?
