That is so funny! I was going to do a similar post with the giant pine tree just outside our yard. The whole tree looks like it is flipping off everyone. I think it is sending its message to Washington DC. Wonderful photos.
Supposedly, a tree has both pollen cones AND seed cones. I'm guessing those are pollen cones. If so, they won't turn into seed cones. I don't know which ones we refer to as "pine cones" as they get more of a wood texture. Just guessing. I'm not a botanist!
