SIZE MATTERS

The Beautiful Artistic Daughter sent a picture this morning and explained that she had splurged on a new cat tree.

Her (huge) black cat, Opal, loved it immediately, the BAD wrote, but is nearly too big to fit into the "caves".

I see a bit of building adjustment coming!

That's a pretty nice cat condo. Maybe they make it in an XL.

Poor kitty! My Mari would love that tree and is a slender girl. Daughter's cat Ziggy is beefy like Opal and has issues fitting into his cat tree spaces too. :)

We had an orange striped (outside) cat who would let out an OOMPH when he jumped down from the porch. The vet said he weighed 13 pounds, and should have been 10 pounds. He would slim down in the summer, but bulked up for winter. I think he would have loved such a cat tree.

The look on that cat's face is priceless.

I can see why the cat loves it! Fingers crossed on the fit.

Do they make similar human trees? I would like one for exercise and simply hanging out.

That's ab impressive tree. We have what I call a simple podium. She's in it now, not much more than a yard away by the window.

So much for if the Whiskers fit, so will the cat.

Maybe she'll lose weight if she exercises on it a bit. :)

Hope Opal doesn't get any bigger! :)

Anybody who takes care of their cat like that is my friend

That is a huge cat! I had a similar cat tree but Angel wasn't having a bar of it. He much preferred the seven foot tall carpet covered one in the back porch. He's long gone now but I still have the tree and Lola climbs on it now.

Oh wow, that is going to be fun to play on. Pretty soon Opal will have found the most favorite spot.
