Meh. When I was working, I hated losing an hour of sleep in the spring, but liked the extra hour in the fall. It only affected me on those two weekends.
Now that I'm retired, this time change doesn't really matter. I just have to drive to town an hour earlier now for my scratchers, since the angle of the setting sun makes it burn through my retinas like a laser.
I am NOT happy about these time changes at all and wish we would emulate AZ. (at least on the fall back/spring forward)
ReplyDeleteI would love to keep DST all year long (as a working stiff I like to have as much light at the END of my day as possible!).
ReplyDeleteThere is no need to fiddle with the clocks...just use the daylight!
ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteSo if Arizonans are laughing does that mean they don't have to change time.?
ReplyDeleteThat's right, Red. Some of us maintain good sense.
DeleteLet's hope it is only the clocks going back and not the whole country reverting to earlier times.
ReplyDeleteHurray for Arizona!
ReplyDeleteIs it disorienting when the rest of the country changes time, and you don't?
ReplyDeleteNot to me.

Arizona has got the right idea about time changes. I hope it has also got the right idea about electing America's first female president.
