YOUNGER DAYS

I ran across this photo recently.  It was taken in the early 1970's and shows your humble correspondent with his zany granddaughter, Christy.  Actually I think we both look pretty good in our Hawaiians, don't you?

The last time I saw Christy (a few weeks ago) she had black hair and lots of tattoos.  My beard is now grey and it's starting to creep into my hair, too.  No tattoos.  Yet.

  1. Cute picture, but you look like an international man of mystery with something to hide. Definitely a Dos Equis drinker.

  2. She's ahead of you on tattoos? Shame!

  3. SH - I don't often drink beer but when I do, I DO drink Dos Equis.

CC - SWMBO disallows them on me.

  4. Is that a necklace you are wearing?!

  5. You two almost blend in with the sofa cushions. A little face paint and you'd be nearly invisible. Just two faces and a Dos Equis bottle. ;)

  6. The reality of life as seen on past and present pictures... :-)

  7. Is your beard creeping into your hair or the gray?

  8. Good point, Steve. It's the gray that's creeping.

And SWMBO points out that the last time we saw Christy her hair was more brown again. Hard to keep track of her color experimentation.

  9. What is it with kids and tatts?
My grand daughter is so pretty it hurts, yet she mars that beautiful skin with inky images that will be out of fashion long before she is!
    Love the necklace, Bruce! :-)
